부평시장 (Bupyeong Market)

After my relatives left mid afternoon I went to check out the Bupyeong Market which is one huge never ending shopping district.

Every corner I turned there is another row of shops! Below the Market Rotary is another underground shopping market that has 30 different entrance/exit spots!!! I didn't attempt the underground market because I was afraid of getting lost...

I came across alot of international brand stores (Nike, Starbucks, McDonalds..) Then I saw an MLB store!!! I checked and they did have a Phillies cap. (Actually one of my students did wear a Phillies shirt last week. I swelled with pride and tried to explain that was my hometown team but I don't think she understood.

I didn't even know that Cold Stone and the Body Shop were international! I will report back if they sell similar products or if its Koreanified (yes I made up that word and I'm totally going to use it).

Let us know if the ice cream is cheaper too... I adore Cold Stone Creamery ice cream... but I could buy more ice cream for the same amount at the grocery store.

I'll let you know about the ice cream once its summer. I'm def. not going to eating ice cream before then... But I'm curious if i can redeem the free bday ice cream internationally...

No way, that's cool! You're mission is to see if it's Koreanified!

The McD's is more 'classy' in Buenos Aires. I haven't gone into the Starbucks here. The Burger King has a security guard at the door (not sure what he's guarding?)... I did check out the menu for TGI Fridays and the menu is EXACTLY the same!
