Christmas Eve

Yes... I actually had to work on Christmas Eve. It was a fun day because many of the classes had a party or watched movies. Directly after 1st period, Christina said that I should go up to 4-6 classroom because Su-won (the homeroom teacher) wanted me to join in their class party. I thought it was kind of random but I didn't think too much of it. When I got up there her class surprised me by singing happy birthday and they had a mini cake made of choco pies. Then there was a mini talent show... some of the boys got together and sang a Big Bang song (SO cute) and there was also a TaeKwonDo (태권도) demo WITH music.

Throughout the year the students earn points for good behavior or doing good deeds. At the end of the year they can buy toys/trinkets in a market that SuWon setup. Some of the kids even gave me gifts! It was a good time. But whats a party without food there was 김밥, 탕수육 (?) and 만두. Needless to say i wasn't very hungry at lunchtime.

The day doesn't end there... I rushed home to meet my aunt, (이모) We took a cab to Bupyeong station and ate dinner at Bennigans. The menu is very much the same as from America. I'm assuming since I've never been to a Bennigans back home. The food seemed less salty. But according to the family they thought it was very salty.

Paris Baguette Cake, Mmmmm.....
Overall there was ALOT of eating today...

I only have to work 1/2 days during winter break. It makes running sooo much easier.
